A REUSABLE BEVERGE CUP THAT SYNCS TO A MOBILE NEWS APP

This project began when I was ruminating on Marshall McLuhan’s iconic phrase, “the medium is the message.” What came of it was PrestoCup, an exaggerated answer to the consideration that how the news is delivered influences how it is received and experienced. Hypothetically, PrestoCup would connect to a mobile news app and display a new story for every sip you take from the cup.

PrestoCup’s brand identity takes inspiration from the already existing association between coffee and the newspaper, the French press, and the printing press.
